The kitchen itself is divided from the living room area by vertical beams and joists. At the other end of the room is a traditional log burner "Godin" - perfect for those early and late season cooler evenings. Logs are provided and stored under cover. A couple of comfortable settees and a sturdy oak table provide seating for six. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer gas cooker microwave and double sink. Whilst cooking you can gaze out through the window over the undulating hills beyond. There is a pine dresser stocked with plenty of plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and cooking equipment. Although, if you cook at all, you will probably find that it will be outside on the BBQ - again all equipment is provided including an assortment of plastic plates etc which you may prefer to use outside for the children. |
